Recently, I had an opportunity to explore the Great, Vast Walls of China with a breadth, scope, and personal investment that blew me away, and almost broke me. I have wrestled with how I can try to best communicate the feelings and meaning of this journey. As with the hiking itself in North and Western China, below I again step outside my comfort zone and share my experience by Ode.
