Pork is to China as chicken is to the United States, and the pork supply in China has been decimated by African Swine Fever. Pork prices are so high that banks are now offering free pork as an incentive to open an account. Sure beats a toaster.
The first Chinese-made Telsa's are now on the roads in China: "Tesla will ramp up production during January, marking the start of a full-on assault on the world’s largest car market. It has taken less than a year from the start of construction of the $5bn (£3.8bn) Shanghai factory in January to the delivery of the first vehicles."
